As a specialist in the field of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Dr. Henderson has completed an advanced program of education. In 1980 he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery, with honors, from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He then began his two-year orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics training program. During this two-year period spent at the Indiana University Dental School Orthodontic Department he also maintained an active general dental practice in Indianapolis. In 1982 he moved to Bloomington to start his specialty practice, since then he has successfully treated thousands of cases. Dr. Henderson’s family includes his wife, Hope, and his five children; Matt (born in 1984), Michael (born in1989), Kylee (born in 1997), Mackenzi (born in 1998) and Mallory (born in 2006). They enjoy spending their free time swimming, skiing, bicycling, jogging, traveling and attending the performing arts.
